This is the most heartbreaking story I have ever read. It’s listed as perhaps the saddest book in recent years, and I’d see why people say that! It’s long and there is new heartbreak every 150 pages or so. As soon as I finished, I went right back to the start and reread 100 pages so I could spend more time with these characters. Incredible writing, fascinating characters. Read with caution.
