So much more interesting towards the very end (like 80 pages left type). Still felt like pulling teeth reading this. Great concept but execution was very surface level.

It still feels like it’s mainly about Lily and how much she likes Sam but I do like the random outrageous punishments. The social commentary is just very surface level for me though.

Seems to mostly focus on Lily’s romantic relationship- they’re definitely just making them do stuff for entertainment purposes.

A little boring

This book is so good. We just learned about her 4th husband, Rex North, who doesn’t seem like the worst guy ever. At least they’re on the same page. Ev and Celia should be together although I’m not sure Ev deserves Celia…

Sooo good. Husband #2 Don Adler has the balls to get caught cheating on Evelyn and immediately after pack up and leave and file for a divorce. I’m happy Evelyn was able to embrace her feelings Celia. Would Evelyn had been as ok with the divorce had she not already been in love with Celia? I hope so.

Ok so they are very much aware that what they did was wrong. I still don’t think they should get the death penalty. It’s also absurd the psychiatrists couldn’t give the full summary.

I’m ready to find out how this ends

These men are actually horrible human beings and don’t even know it. I guess at least Perry isn’t a pedophile unlike Dick. They’re moving so much and I don’t get how no one is recognizing them?? (Except in Kansas City).

Just learned more about Perry’s siblings. I feel like we could’ve been spared the excess details like it could’ve been shorter but I get it’s to better understand Perry’s background and trauma perhaps.
