I have stopped. I read Justine. And I found it both brilliant and pretentious, where the latter was also a slog. Also so self obsessed the characters. Very end of Empire.
Enjoyed a fair bit but second book, I started, but need s break.

So far so good Very interesting. However, a plethora of books at time mean it's currently on my hiatus shelf....

Listening on audible, currently in a hiatus, but may read it from beginning in book form. Amazing scholarship and academic, but accessible, writing. Assume shorter and more overview accounts out there but this must be up there as best modern study in English.
