Book is finally picking up! I find myself more and more lost in a spiral as our main characters reality and fictional world collides… is what she says fact if she believes her characters are real?

Just wrapped up the first two chapters… 96 pages between the two! Glad to have started this on a flight, with no other option or entertainment I couldn’t turn away from this laborious trek. Coincidentally, Agatha Christie is mentioned! We just got into those films a few weeks ago. Lastly, our main character sure knows how to monologue and has a boundless imagination. I’m
curious to see where she takes us.

Lucy Lucy Lucy! Finally she strides into the world, rather than merely watching and being told what she saw and what to think. What a swift and definite action. Wow!

Wow, I finally hit my stride with this book and it ended. I turned the last page, on the edge of my seat, to only find out it was the last act. It took me too long to get into, but I’m so glad I finished it. What a book. Love this author. Circe such an interesting main character, many pages tabbed due to her remarks and pondering.

Getting back into the swing of this book

I don’t know why, but I’m struggling to find my pace reading this book. Miller’s writing is my favorite, yet I find sentences and paragraphs need rereading. Perhaps because of their beautiful complexity or because of my decreasing knowledge of Greek mythology.

Read in two days? I think. and WOW. Just wow. Exactly what I needed.
