TW for animal abuse.

I’m shelving it, I am far too sensitive when it comes to that topic to be able to process beauty surrounding something so traumatising. I have been able to think of little else for days. Unfortunately, will not be finishing after googling and seeing that it is a theme through out.

I really wish I had more time to read at the moment because the second half of this book is immense!

Two perspectives, one during the First World War, the other a couple years after the second. Really intriguing female protagonists so far!
