I don’t understand how rafe could be a CIA agent after everything we know about his mother and Will’s experience with the military ditching him. Also why is he so filled with rage? I was hoping he’d be much more well rounded considering Cheyenne’s influence

This entire series is a miscommunication trope and it’s killing me. Why is Miri so against being with black when she clearly wants to? No answers there? He explains he wants her and asks why she doesn’t want him, she doesn’t answer. He asks what he did wrong, she doesn’t answer. Why is she so mad all the time???
Is he going to give any concrete answers about the whole alien thing???

I know the authors prefaced this with anyone can be the FMC and therefore didn’t describe her thoroughly. I feel like that makes sense if the situation is just unlucky or random. Like average girl gets abducted by aliens. Average girl bumps into MMC etc. but the FMC is already such a hooligan I feel like she’s not relatable

Okay huge pet peeve in books when main characters ditch their guard because they are ‘adults’ and hand handle themselves. Um if you were behaving like an adult you wouldn’t be so naive and ditch someone doing an important job because it’s inconvenient for you
