Really enjoying this random pick from the library!

So we all hate Peter right

I KNEW there would be a shadow daddy in this book let’s go

Kind of a ridiculous plot point. Without spoiling, I do NOT think that she would ever give that thing away. Bleh.

Already a bit more brutal than I was expecting, but good so far!

Crying through the final 20 pages of this book

“Being furious at their deceit did nothing to them, but everything to her, and anger would wear her down into dust. She wanted to avoid that fate. She didn’t want to let something that had been good in her life turn sour.”

We’ve picked up the pace! Things are getting interesting and complicated. I feel like I have a solid prediction of how this will all end, but only time will tell!

Feeling like this is a fairly slow start, but I’m thinking a lot of setup is needed for this book.
