Finally understand why my mom didn’t want me and my sisters riding our bikes on our rarely traveled country backroad.

It is unacceptable for a book to make me so emotional this early.

Book 5 and I’m still confused, this doesn’t seem fair. But, in Sanderson we trust.

So far, the scariest part of this book is how terrible the FMC is at handling the situations she puts herself in.

Also not a huge fan of the starving-yourself-means-you’re-disciplined-and-i-love-the-feeling talk, even in the pseudo-satirical manner. But we’ll see where else this goes!

Every chapter. EVERY CHAPTER. I have cried at some point in almost every chapter of this book. I just know the end of this book is going to destroy me.

Not purposely binging rom-coms but Libby seems to think it’s what’s needed and I’m not complaining.

This feels like if Sherlock Holmes’s partner was Shawn Spencer and they had magical powers, and I LOVE IT.

I have a little over 200 pages left of this 800 page book like why did I stop reading this. (Also it’s quite good so why again)

Never been more invested in something that has yet to answer any of my questions. I’m more confused than when I started book 1. I don’t know if I’ll ever be un-confused. But I’m LOVING it.

Oh my gosh this book is terrible, it’s making me feel so many things and I’m only A QUARTER OF THE WAY THROUGH.
It’s amazing already. But I’ve already started crying. Not sure I’m ready for this.

Umm why am I hooked?? This is so messy and dramatic and I want to slap every one of these characters across the face like “ummm are you actually dumb? Are you an actual idiot?” Because these decisions make 0 sense. And I’m eating it up.

I keep taking breaks to read other things because EVERY TIME I COME BACK SOMEONE I LOVE DIES. IN SOME HORRIFIC WAY. I swear, you have to be a masochist to read these books, they’re so brutal. I’m gonna have a heart attack and die before I finish.

Listened to another 2 hours of Dark Age so time for a break. Again.

Taking a (another) break from Dark Age to remind myself what joy and comfort feel like.

HOW DOES ANYONE FINISH THIS SERIES?? My anxiety has steadily escalated with every book and it never goes down!!! I’m so scared and sad for all of these characters!!! My heart can’t take it! Literally! I might die of a heart attack before I finish these books. But I can’t stop. They’re too good. I hate this.

This book is so adult, wow! Without the cursing every other word, and sex, or references to it, it wouldn’t be but because it has all that, I know it’s an adult book! Thank you!

The world intrigues me so I will continue on. Probably very unfair that I’m listening to this while reading The Way of Kings but, so it goes.
