I liked this book so much. What a wonderful glimpse into a big city through one small life. I love that this character is not necessarily likeable. I love how familiar, and sometimes simple, the observations and thoughts on art and culture are. And I LOVE the way Teju Cole writes about music. All the things I liked about Tremor, with a less experimental style and a more single character-driven plot.
