It’s a fun read, in the vein of Freud’s Three Essays on Sexuality (if you don’t take it too seriously). His ideas on dominance and submission are super intriguing and while I don’t know if I believe that are present to the extent he describes, I think it definitely helps me understand relationship dynamics more. Also, reading it makes Wonder Woman more interesting.

I found it very touching but very sad. Read it all in one sitting. I love the take on an epilogue to the Odyssey.

A few super super small details felt wrong/ anachronistic (using coffee to describe a color, word ambiguity between chance and choice which aren’t similar in Greek) because I’m a nitpicking Classics major.
