Well, I have to say that up to this point Christian is a real jerk and I don't really like him. I'm not really that hot on Victor either. I actually thought that Christian had second thoughts about his behavior when he was in a tight situation but nope, as soon as he was out of it he went back to his previous attitude just proving what a prick he is. :P

So Caine admits that Danni is his mate but doesn't want a HEA with her and he's planning to leave her and screw around with other women in front of her?!?!? Seriously? Up to this point, Caine wasn't the greatest but at least he was better than Chris (the hero from book #2) but maybe not...

Ok, so she went to college majoring in Political science with a minor in Russian and somehow ended up as a software developer... How the heck does that happen?!?!

Ok, so Hugh's version of flirting is stalking and investigating her while accusing her of lying and yet he expects her to trust him? She just let him kiss her and I don't understand that at all! If it was me, I think I'd have been kneeing this guy in the balls the first time he broke into my house! This seems like a crappy way to start a relationship...with the cop stalking you and treating you like a criminal....

I have to say that I'm rather disappointed with this story. The 2 MCs have this mysterious "connection" yet she hates aliens. And the "deal" in the description is wrong...the true premise of the story is much worse. I thought Showalter's Lords of the Underworld series was great but if this story is any indication of how this series is going to go, I'm not at all interested. I'm so tempted to DNF this book... :(

Ok, it's worse, Violet's BFF isn't oblivious...just a bitch!

Ok, Violet's BFF is a slut and obviously doesn't pay any attention at all or she'd notice that Violet cringes every time the BFF slavers all over Nico. And I'm not sure I like Nico too much either because instead of turning Violet's BFF down when she asked him out, he said yes! WTF!!!

Éibhear decided to come between Izzy and her kill. On top of all the other crap he's pulling, if I was Izzy, I think I'd have slit his throat by now. Éibhear is not shaping up to be a good hero. I'm hoping this book isn't ruined by Éibhear being a complete prick. :(

I hate it when a series switches to a new narrator and they pronounce all the names differently! :(

Ok, so the second story in this book is Chains & Flames which is actually Dragon Kin #0.3 in the series so I'm reading it first then going back to the series reading order.

Ok, the first impression of Charli's boss is that there's something off (as in way weird) with him. I wonder if he's a bad guy...

TBH, Ben's attitude towards Megan is getting extremely annoying. He's blaming her for all his troubles and treating her like a piece of crap! who cares if Megan is going through just as much if not more then he is.

Damn! I got an email from Amazon indicating that the release of my pre-order of Ashes by Suzanne Wright was delayed from the 4th to the 11th. I called Audible and they said that the audio also wouldn't be coming out until the 11th as well. However, the audio version came out today after all and I haven't reread the first 2 books yet because I delayed in order to finish them right before the release of Ashes. :P

Ok, Jasmine's vitriol is pissing me off. Adrian might have an iffy "destiny" but the first time Jasmine met Adrian is when he was attempting to sacrifice his life in order to save Ivy and Jasmine's life. Considering that, Jasmine going behind Ivy's back to try to make sure she doesn't see Adrian and then bitching when she can't keep Adrian away from Ivy anymore is just messed up. I want to slap her...

I liked Susan when she was around before and understood why she and Harry couldn't be together. Hearing her "reasons" for never telling Harry about his daughter (and then giving her away to strangers) makes me want to beat the crap out of Susan. Harry's mad at her but he's being way too nice IMO!!! Bitch!!!

Ok, now Zoe has been molested by an unattended medical device. How many times is this woman going to get molested by non-sentient equipment?

Well, Zoe is a bit too soft and accepting for my liking. And I'm kind of confused...if the hero uses an automatic bed to pleasure Zoe against her will, is it still considered rape? He says he wont rape her but using a bad instead of his body doesn't seem like much of a different to me. I guess it's just a good thing Zoe enjoyed it...considering the circumstances, I couldn't be as accepting of my fate as she is....

No clue how far I'm into this because I didn't know it wasn't finished yet. That's a bit frustrating... :P

Sigh...I was really hoping that I'd like Caspion better in this story but TBH, it seems like he's just as much of a self-centered jerk in this book as he was previously. :(

Ok, I'm liking the story to a point but for the most part, it's painful because it's almost constant angst... :P

Ok, it was bad enough when Audrey was fighting the relationship but now that she's finally accepted their relationship, Fallon is trying to tear them apart! I just want to slap the crap out of Fallon right now.

So Vox is refusing Riley "marriage" before he even knows what it is and Riley is refusing to have his cubs until they're married (even though she's already pregnant). Can you say idiots?!?!

OMG...another misunderstanding that is keeping Riley in her pissy mood throughout the whole book! This is just getting so fricken annoying that it's killing me! If it wasn't for the fact that I have an issue with DNFing a book, I think I'd throw this one out the window! :(

Sigh, I'm getting tired of Riley being contrary just for the sake of being contrary. This is really getting annoying...

Ok, all the misunderstandings are getting a bit wearing but what's really starting to get annoying is the whole ship full of men that are actively lusting over Riley...I mean seriously? They're actively lusting over their King's mate and this makes sense?

Ok, Lucy just proclaimed that as far as Willy Wonka actors go, she prefers Depp over Wilder. WTH?!?!? I'm questioning her likability as a heroine now...
