Ok- here we go- I was GUARANTEED this was the BEST SERIES EVER WRITTEN by the readers of Reddit. What could go wrong? I’m open minded, I’ll give it a shot.

Starting to get good quite fast!

Starting to get vested! I’m sorry I won’t have time to read it more this week, maybe I can try 50 pages a day on school night. I waited so long because it was long. I tried once years ago but I stopped because I lost interest. Goal this year is to see how much of the Constant Reader checklist I can complete- then I’ll go back & finish Follett or other generic new fiction :)

So far so good- of course he wrote it before covid, but sounds scarier than covid tbh

This one is a page-turner and not as long… it’s been awhile since I have a 4-5 star rating, but this one may be a contender as I hear it has a marvelous ending!

Moving along nicely; listening to Bach Christmas Oratorio while getting into this book…. Gonna guess the punchline is a demon Revivalist preacher who cures people (while making bad things happen).

This one is the 3rd book in the Mr Mercedes trilogy. I am enjoying it, and will likely start The Outsider again when I finish it. It’s a fast read so far and gets exciting early on. Book 2 is a stand alone novel but in the same universe. However, I think it helps keep you invested in the characters when you read it as well.
