Alice is pulling at my heartstrings. A girl surrounded by siblings but without any friends at the lake, watching kids her age have fun but never invite her. Ugh. Spending every summer in the middle of no where does something to you when you’re alone in your formative self and friend years.

Such a different vibe from being September and Anne of Avonlea but feels fitting cause I’m at the cottage

God when I start reading articles about what this book is trying to talk about it when it becomes an issue
