currently rereading. first of all just a brilliant as i remembered it. secondly, this is written by the author of the atlas six?? this is such a niche crossover idk what to do w this info

oh this glides

hmm..idk. it’s very..been there, done that

Naira, genuinely what the hell are you doing?

my girl can never catch a break

micro aggressions 😍

oh this is about to wreck me

adultery/cheating count: 5 IM CRINE what is going on in this book holy crap 😭😭

omg adultery/cheating count: 4?????

rename this to the look of adultery

flick istg 😭😭😭

i wish authors would stop including acts in their books that are poorly executed or misplaced. just reached the end of act 1 and so much has happened and yet the plot feels like its barely developed.

cut the cameras.

my sweetie pie rocky I’m gonna cryyyyy ☹️

never thought I’d say this to a man but Laith stand tf up bro

motley crew where everyone is turned on by each other, okay

“she was a sheep among wolves, dainty and colorful compared to their sharp lines and dark cuts. she was meant for needlework and gossip, not pistols and blackmail.” and that’s strike two.

it’s a bit caricaturey but otherwise im enjoying it so far

“she didn’t go around breaking hearts; she broke other things, like laws and contracts and bones” I fear this strike one

okay so birthright just out the fucking window

“the sky a pale blue like the sclera of an anemic eyeball” the double take i just did

need sleep otherwise id finish this in a sitting. so good.

I am reminded why I should never sleep on short stories. This is so well written

“The particularities of individuals were glossed over in favor of humanitarian causes; fictional characters were more like representations of particular circumstances, speaking on behalf of society as a whole.”

this is starting to drag big time

“hey so you just have to kill this one millennia+ old dude who’s killed millions of people” vis: “ehh..idk killing is bad” LOCK IN????

instantly i love caeror

finally getting to this, although trying to play catch up is a mess

“Whenever she saw a young person w dyed hair pass by, she’d look carefully, hoping it was Aki or Subaru. Would Ureshino or Fuka turn up on the walkway over there, arm in arm w their parents, like her? Would Masamune pass right in front of her, carrying a bag with the latest video game he’d just bought? She hoped in would come true. She even hoped that Rion, away in Hawaii, might suddenly make an appearance.”

ugh please tell them stay happy together forever

enjoying this a lot so far, i'm glad i finally got around to reading it
