I didn’t think I was going to like this book, that being said I love the details paid to everyday black woman life from the 90s?

The last chapter was very sad. Definitely one that makes you contemplate life choices.

Interesting. They’re taking different girls from the same families perspectives. Certain people you like in one chapter and dislike in the next.

Seems like we are following different parts of the same family so far and the children not knowing one of the parents
