I really don't know if I'm loving it or not... I feel like I've been thrown into this world without a real explanation. The mmc is VERY stubborn like I get that she is flooded by grief but her actions are very stupid most boy the time and she definitely could make smarter decision and still get the house. However I like where the story is going in general :)

We have a single bed trope! I repeat: single bed! I am absolutely loving this book! I don’t want to jinx it but this might be my first 5 star book of 2026

This book is SUPER faced paced and I can’t figure out if I like it or not, sometimes it feels like their relationship is very rushed

Why is there always a weird and dangerous worm in these fantasy books ?

It started out great, I really like the story line and even though it is “big city girl & small town guy” it doesn’t feel as cliche as other books with that trope but the spicy scenes are sooo awkward!
