The audiobook is so immersive! I didn't expect poetic prose, but I'm here for it. Excited to see Luiselli when I'm in Seattle next week!

This is SO good already! Early readers are right, haunting and the book I hope for every time I read (and the book I eventually want to write). This will almost certainly be a 5/5

So far so good! A little challenging to get into, the footnotes are sooo wildly detailed to be a bit distracting but also really enjoyable?, but NEBRASKA

Taking a break on this and Silent Spring to focus on Indie Next smh. So far a good read, very birdy but what can one expect. A good mix of individual stories, policy, and ornithology. Certainly there are some universalizable lessons for other areas of conservation.

So glad I'm sticking with this, YA is not my usual fare! Gotta meet that Indie Next deadline for once
