I may have to pause the audiobook and get it in print because the narration is driving me bananas. I can’t tell if I don’t like the book or just the style of the narrator

Instantly irritated… why make a big deal about Joann nursing the baby and then declare she’s on the bottle because she doesn’t produce enough milk? :/ Hoping it gets better lol

I love learning a lot about characters and complicated family drama. This one fell flat for me, unfortunately. I enjoyed reading but didn’t WOW me exactly. I felt like there could’ve been so much more depth in many ways.

I’m about to DNF at over 50% in because I couldn’t care less about any of these characters or the story. WHYYYY are we using words like “slay” so often?! The only time I use these cringe inducing words is when I’m TRYING to irritate my kids with their outdated slang of 2020. Lord have mercy.
