Aurienne and Osric accidentally tripping balls together was the highlight of my week.

I'm over halfway done and so far this one is dragging a bunch and mostly making my heart hurt. Like, it's making me feel things but not happy things. I'm not sure I like where it's heading.

I started this today and am on page 352. I definitely can see why Rebecca read this one in a day. 😍

This is my first book by Freida McFadden. She's super 6 I figured I'd see what the hubbub was about. So far, the story is fine. I can't tell if the writing is bad or if she's writing this way for a reason. We'll see how the rest of the story goes.

I tried reading this a couple months ago and didn't get very far. The writing was meh and it seemed really slow going. People still say it's really good, so I decided to give it another go. It's definitely gotten better, story wise, and it looks like I'll be finishing it just to get answers as to what the fuck is going on in this castle.

This book is about 250 pages longer than it needs to be. I'm about halfway done and not totally sure if I'm really digging it or not.

Now that I'm past the first 200 pages of world building, the story is getting pretty good!

I'm about 77 pages in, and I'm not sure how I feel about the book. I really want to like it but so far it's not keeping my interest. I don't want to DNF my first book of 2024, but I might. The writing isn't bad, but the book involves Puritans and religious talk, which I find really boring in any book. I'll read more, but I am not optimistic.
