This is by far and away the weirdest book I have EVER read but it's simply compelling. I feel like I literally cannot put it down.

This book has WAY too much crammed into the last 15% of it - and my Spotify audio book hours ran out with an hour and a half left! Waiting for those to refill to finish, or I'll just plonk myself down at Barnes & Noble for 45 minutes and read it.

THIS BOOK IS DRAGGING ON SO LONG AND I JUST WANT TO FINISH IT ALREADY

"At first glance, the key and the lock it fits may seem very different," Sazed said. "Different in shape, different in function, different in design. The man who looks at them without knowledge of their true nature might think them opposites, for one is meant to open, and the other to keep closed. Yet, upon closer examination he might see that without one, the other becomes useless."

This is reading like the premise of Lost and I'm loving it

The author should not have read his own audiobook. Cadence is weird and his pauses are illogical.

Also, if I hear the phrase "chewed flesh" one more time I think I will vomit.

I don't remember the last book I read that was this profound. The agony of hope.

"Death is not a religion. It is a fact."
