It's so far a super engaging and immersive books. There's been times her descriptions left me sick to my stomach. There's strong conflict constantly moving the plot forward and leaving me rooting for the main character, Pheby, to survive her current horrors.

The book has had some various twists and turns but nothing that's really knocked me off my feet. In some ways I feel as though I'm simply coasting through the book instead of experiencing the book. This also is apparent with some of the characters. With their being so many POV's we follow, it's doomed that at least a few aren't fun to read.

Currently the books not too bad but hasn't had that real pick me up I was hoping for. It's tough to build with 6 different perspectives so that's the main part that's lacking for me. I haven't had the interest to really DIVE in and read it in one sitting.

So far the book is pretty slow progressing which has been tough for me but I'm optimistic.

I DNF'd this book. Unfortunately it was too young for me leaving me a little uninterested in the plot. Maybe I'll finish it one day.
