I’m so excited to re-enter this world !! So happy I got this one for my birthday🥳

Still very undecided how I’m feeling on this one, but I think we just hit a ~big reveal~ that just confirms the theory I’ve had the whole time :\ I hope there’s a shake up coming

Last year, I bounced around the poems and tales of this one, and I started that way this season too.

Well, I was enjoying myself so much, I’ve accidentally started chipping through chronologically ! I’ve made it through William Wilson, which was a big surprise for me and one of my favorites yet

P.s. we finally got some crisp air in the TN weather today !!!

Reason 1 for the reread is here

fine fine fine I’ll do a reread and see if I can make it through all 5 books this time

let the fall reading commence

Update: not only is work being talked about, but her boss is doing a 180 and calling her back to the office?? Oyyyyy

I’m bored let’s wrap this up, and Clara, PLEASE stop talking/thinking/narrating about WORK!!!!

one last (ok maybe) summer romcom for 2026

My dad lent me this book years ago, but I had just read some Hiaasen and wasn’t really in the mood…. Then the Apple TV show came out, I loved it, and now it’s been long enough I don’t remember every plot line that happened! And it felt like a good end of summer read

Oh yeah, I just wasn’t in the right headspace when I tried to read this a few years ago (the odyssey being fresh in my mind now doesn’t hurt either)

let’s try this again, shall we?

I want this to be light and carefree and am enjoying the premise, but the writing is so clunky in some spots :\

Ok feared I was being too critical of my other current read so said lemme just start this one to see what we’re working with …. Now THIS is how you write a first < 100 pages wowow I’m hooked

I’m going to push through this one in the hopes it goes somewhere new, but I’m starting to think maybe Freida doesn’t do it for me.

I’m trying to give it a fair shot, but 31% into this book and I don’t feel hooked, I don’t feel curious, I don’t feel excited… I feel like I’m reading a carbon copy of a formula I’ve already read but with the details switched up

I appreciate the sentiment but…. I’m kinda bored

finallyyyyyy some jess pov I’ve been waiting for this

wait I’m scared of what I think might happen :\

ok this is meatier than I expected!! ( positive! )

oh no I’m hooked and fear I might be up all night reading lol

At the mention of a high bun as a signature look, I immediately had to check the publication date lol 2015 checks out

I love this book - I love Seth Rogen so I knew I would, but wow I love this book
