Really enjoying seeing the relationship between Celeana and Dorian and wish they could find a way to be together. I think the King probably knows more than we think. He has some links to Cain and has a close relationship with his champion.

Kaltain and Perrington deserve each other. Loving Celeana and Dorian together but don't think they will last because of societal expectations. It is very in character for Cain to be behind the murders. I don't think Perrington knows but think he would be on board with it to beat Celeana.

I really like Dorian. He is very kind and affectionate towards Celeana when they are alone but there is still a lot of distance between them. I want to know more about Sam and his relationship with Celeana.

Nobody seems concerned about these murders and why isn't the king back to help deal with it?

Enjoying this book so far. Like the characters but feel we should know more about Celeana. Also why did the king start this competition to find a champion but then disappear for the entirety of it?! Looking forward to how the relationships develop with the main three characters.
