Finished Vol 18 (4.5 stars) - Fucking brilliant dream sequence. My heart was in my throat the whole time. Would Mira’s first explanation of Borderland excited my sci-fi loving brain? Yes, but it would’ve killed the point of the whole series. The ending carried the author’s message faithfully until the last page - “What does it mean to be alive?”.

Finished Vol 13 (4 stars) - Interesting end to the solitary confinement game, and I’m stoked to see Hayato back, even if it is with Aguni. The last two volumes have been only side stories though, so I wonder just how quickly this whole series is going to wrap up when we get back to Arisu and Usagi.

Finished Vol 12 (4 stars) - Seeing Arisu and Usagi have a moment of peace was so needed. And then we went straight into another fucked up game lol
