loving this - but fighting for my life to get it finished before the astarion book comes out next week while also being halfway through a playthrough of bg3 (oh noo my lobster is too buttery my steak is too juicy)

this is taking me soo long to get into i have faith it'll pay off though in thea we trust

there's actually nothing better than rereading a childhood fave and loving it just as much ten years later

i am soo close to dnf-ing this godforsaken book which i hate partly because i've been looking forward to reading it for so long but mostly because i paid six great british pounds to get it on kindle:(((

when i tell you i am 60% of the way through this book and not ONE interesting thing has happened. i'm so sad ... shadowhunters you will never be beaten.

usually i would give up here but i've already read 375 pages and i refuse for my first read of 2026 to be a dnf so we are persevering
