Theres many insights in here. One relevant one is that most people dont know that you only get sick from being near other humans. This hermit lived in the woods for over 20 years and not once got even a cold. Thank you to the writer for bringing his story to life. The story is what it is. He was eventually caught due to thieving for survival. Rare cases like these are interesting as a study of humanity and isolation.

It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a new fantasy book. I look forward to following Kvothe on his story every night.
