Thought I'd re-read this after lots of years. Was a teenager when I last read it. Cracking short story so far. Remember liking it, really good description.

Wow, only just read the first chapter and it's amazing. So many quotes I've pulled out from it to keep. Could have been written today when you read about the contrast between the world and the truth. Heard the name of this book around before, so thought I'd read it, so glad I've started, it's fantastic.
