loving it so far. only stopping because i am HUNGRY and have read so many things today my brain aches

contending with wanting to speed through the story to find out what happens next and never wanting it to end

every moment i get i’m grabbing hold of this to read. twenty mins before bed, three mins at the bus stop, thirty mins on the tube. even thirty seconds in the lift.

easy reading.

nothing like actually getting a moment to sit down and read for more than a chapter at a time.
have to admit i totally forgot that people outside of my lecturer can be called orkideh, so reading that name and then her becoming a key part of the story was a wee bit of a shock.
really enjoying so far and liking the addition of poems etc to break up sections

i am really enjoying this book. gut wrenching and raw so far but in a way that is so engaging you can’t turn away

incredibly suspicious of her.

love the ministry of truth being based off senate house. it is giving evil vibes.

so thankful for the powerful telling of this story honestly

her mum manipulating her into anorexia is a special type of evil behaviour. that disorder is hard enough without having the person you idolise most in the world being hAppy you have it

when will they kiss !!!!!!!!!!!! not ashamed to say how much i’m enjoying this book. very much not my usual read (i save this genre for ao3) but a slightly cheesy, cute, lesbian book is ALWAYS going to be a hit with me

having a hard time getting past the absolute incel loser cuck that is shiraha. like he has literally zero redeeming qualities why is keiko letting him LIVE in her HOUSE BY CHOICE????

i think the hardest part of this read is how much i relate to esme. she’s literally just neurodivergent, and her freedom was so close. she had her Out of that house and they locked her up got having fun and whimsy and i think of how many autistic/nd/otherwise girls were locked away for being different. makes me feel sick

sooooooo good so far i’m obsessed

i genuinely recommend everyone to read this book.
