I'm having the hardest time finishing this, how the very same author wrote the complex and intriguing Eva Stratt in Project Hail Mary can fail this miserably at writing a female character is BAFFLING. Almost DNF'd after the sentence "I stared at him like he had a dick growing out of his forehead." Jesus christ.
