Chapter 8 was the most boring, and slow paced chapter so far. Although, it did had a lot of of world lore and allusion to the roles that the characters might take throughout the book.

So far the main characters are learning and growing. Citra is learning to be more empathetic and to think logically as she’s prone to be more impulsive and quick to anger. Rowan is learning to be more assertive and believe in himself as he tends to be more pessimistic and have low self esteem. Both characters are a clear contrast of each other.
