Quite a lovely book. The magic is really interesting and the characters are well written.

Absolutely excellent. It has a very wonderful filled toned with Yumi experiencing things for the first time.

Exceptionally cozy. I love the relationship everyone has and Har’elday is surprisingly lovable

Honestly kind of struggling with this one

I despise the antagonists of this book right now. The wicked betrayal of the main character genuinely has frustrated me more than anything I have ever read and I do not know how i am going to feel when the book is over

Ok so I’m a bit over halfway. This book takes a very realistic approach to what may have happened in the decades following the OG trilogy. It isn’t overly shiny or idyllic and I think it works fantastically. It’s a bit sad of course that some of the things happened to some characters but I think it works so well. The insights into the White foxes is extremely interesting!

Really loving the different factions within the empire. The triumvirate is interesting. I appreciate that it seems like neither side is omniscient but everyone is just adjusting as problems come up. Really good

At last I have reached the final act. I have no idea how this one is going to end
