Hoping Veras narrative will get me out of my ‘when death gives you lemons slump’

On hold again. I just cannot seem to get into this story. It is so random and kinda confusing at times.

This book is like a weird mix between a murder mystery (why did he kill his friends?? Why is his father in prison for this murder? And why is he so weird and secretive about it?) and a love story with a grim reaper (not really at that part yet tho)

Taking a little break to finish ‘wij waren, ik ben’ first

Mabel is such an unreliable narrator it is making me doubt everything and everyone’s existence (but i love it)

I dont think daphne is a real person ??!?

If you want me to embarrass myself ask me to name a character other than achilles…
