Although this book is old and doesn't contain a lot of new infos , yet it did a great job giving the main infos
While serving a good mix between history economy geography and other sciences

Europe is a complicated structure man

A really good explanation of the core of the EU

I might admit from what I've read this is a good introduction for the world's geography indeed
But if u need to dive deeper into geography u need to read about each country separately
