Context: Went and got Onyx Storm like everyone else and their mother (literally, according to my local b&n cashier). Brought it with me from CA to TX. Decided to skim-to-read the first two based on my heart’s desire.

I’ve been trying to read this since I bought it at McKay’s for 4 bucks a gazillion years ago (maybe a decade??). I’ve restarted it maybe 4 times (and had far <10 total reading sessions).

My mans and I went to Barnes & Noble last night, which is why I added 25 more books to my shelves this morning. Lmao

been working on this for months(!) and keep coming to a standstill because I’m trying to read the write-ins and the story at the same time. My mans thinks that’s how it’s supposed to be done, but I couldn’t make up my mind (tbh still cannot even though…). I just figured out yesterday that the author is fictional? that means the novel is made up too? does that help me make up my mind? idk???
