leena is so annoying and i couldn't care less about her stupid brother

leena on my nerves

i'm confused

i'm getting so bored, we have learned nothing for the past 20%

why tf has "main character energy" been mentioned so many times as well as "villian origin story" as well as other general romance tropes

this is supposed to be a darker fantasy world not tiktok

this is weird

the fmc is so??? she's so annoying but i also kinda get her

idk the vibe is so different compared to the other books, it's almost comedic?? in a way

i think i would have to reread the series to read this idk

wait so why is this a thing

stop giving me your toughest battles

it's literally finishing a book you willingly picked up

this is so annoying

are we supposed to like kyran's sister?? bc she's an asshole

this is actually very bad & definitely feels like fanfiction in the sense that it should not have been published without immense editing like, how tf do i still have 30% of the book left

but i also can't stop reading it so go figure

also the whole premise of this story where the STARTING QB needs money for dorms is so insane as if scholarship football players (especially the star QB) would ever have to pay for their dorms is comical

this is really not good at all but i cant stop reading it

i am hoping this book makes me feel the way i did when i was reading fanfiction at 3am before school when i was like 13 did but so far its ass

also because i know college football, reading about it in this book is sooo distracting bc the author clearly knows nothing about it lmao

i think this is maybe just not for me but i'll finish it anyway

the beginning of the end

i'm trying to read this kind of slow to savor it but i'm also so scared, somebody is for sure gonna die and i'm not ready for it

omg finally

i hope what i am reading right now is not foreshadowing

well i am sufficiently terrified, somebody is definitely going to die

i rlly dont understand whats going on

nvm i'm dumb i get it

okay, i now realize it is based off of that green ribbon story that i vaguely remember from the 3rd grade but i don't remember it well enough for the retelling to mean much to me

i just finished story one and i am very confused
