chapter 2 done and another hard read. finally getting some plot though and meeting new characters. im very interested in mrs heathcliff and relieved that she is a widow and not heathcliffs wife. sad to hear his son is dead though. lockwood continues to annoy me creating his own problems and expecting others to solve them but whatever. excited to continue on.

First chapter was hard to get through. Extremely detailed and took a lot of rereading to fully grasp what was happening at times. Lockwood seems a bit unreliable and kinda full of himself, Heathcliff seems damaged. Interested in the lore.

Learning lots of new words that I was not previously familiar with. Also really hoping that the unexpected visitor by her bedside was not Carmilla because she was only six and thats a little strange.
