I was expecting a darker romance for some reason; I mean I’m enjoying the story, but FMC moves in with him after being around each other again for like two weeks? Nah girl. Let him get his life together first

Ok so I LOVE the world building and magical systems, but I feel like we got in to a big “bridge” rut between the end of the last book and the beginning of this one. I put it on hold for now because others have caught my eye while I work out my thoughts of this one.

Creed’s experiences overseas are making some SOB like a baby. I’m having a hard time with that lol otherwise I’m addicted. I generally can’t get down with an age gap that follows the FMC from when they’re really young, but Robinson writes so that Creed doesn’t come across as a nasty pedo and Mia doesn’t seem grossly grown up for a kid

Love the high stakes, fast pace so far. Kon and Athena’s banter and love/hate thing is top of the line, but I’m hoping they don’t fall too hard too fast. I’m a slow burn kinda gal with a storyline like this. Loving it though!

Waiting for the other shoe to drop lol so far it’s way too calm, even with Cole’s revelation of his past to Mara
