pretty sure i read this one in high school but i know i never got to the LOTR trilogy so i figured i’d revisit this first

what a wild ride. incredibly excited to talk about this one for book club

much more poop than anticipated

first 30 pages kicked my ass way too hard so it’s going back to the to-read list until i relearn the english language

think i just gave my work computer malware trying to read this online and IT had to confiscate it ☹️

going to quit my job so i can finish this

started this late last week and it’s really good so far but i’ve been car shopping instead of reading for the past couple days and i miss reading about the buendía family instead of the honda civic 😔

waiting to watch lost highway (hopefully tonight) before i read the david lynch essay. going to keep myself busy with fear and loathing until then 😁

think i’ve got to call it quits on this. i’m generally a completionist but at the halfway point in a book, i feel like you should expect to have gotten at least *some* enjoyment out of it, which i obviously failed to do.
