I am really enjoying this book and the island’s story that comes with it. So much grief and pain and love. Plus a little mystery and maybe ghosts or memories that haunt.

I’m happy to be reading genres that I might never had read in the past.

To be fair, I listened to this on Hoopla. While I ended up liking the story, it was very slow-moving. I can see why people would enjoy it, but it’s just not my genre—I prefer more action and/or mystery.
