You ever become completely enamored with how a man puts letters together to make words which, together, make sentences, and those combined makes thoughts and overarching themes within five minutes? Yeah…. Me either

Into the Tolstoy oeuvre we go. Might as well start with something small and relatively unknown

About a 1/6 through this book, and our boy hasn’t even been arrested for potentially promoting an insurrection yet! Hand up, I am very much enjoying this. Our pompous eccentric king is about to go through some ROUGH times before proving the haters (the 1840’s Russian intelligentsia) wrong!

Not an enjoyable listen so far! Horrifying and nauseating actually. Don’t know how the author was able to immerse herself into these incel forums.
