Omg the choices of this certain character and the lack of communication on their end makes me wanna punch 👊🏼 on the flip side I’m thrilled about where another story line is going 😆

I wanted her to go with him so bad 🥲 She’s not meant for the farm 🌾

I’m STRESSED - but in a good way 😆

I am seriously enjoying this so far! If you're TRAYLOR obsessed, you're gunna love this 🤭 I finally get to know what they were thinking before and after his football game 🤣

Just starting this one - review ARC from publisher! Haven't read a little rom com in a while so let's see how this goes!

part 2 was so short yet said so much 😭

Part one is over and I am sad 😭

There isn't much to say right now about what's going on because part 1 is heavily setting us up for what I believe is going to be a powerful part 2 and 3. I feel so sad almost at the end of each chapter but oddly hopeful... moreso curious. Much like our main character Beatrix. I want to keep reading but I can't!

There’s honestly so much going on 😂 this book moves at a super fast pace but I’m enjoying it! However there is a scene with a rat vs mink animal fight that if you can’t read that stuff, you can skip over and get the idea of what happened from context in the next chapter.

Read a few more chapters, got some insight on some other characters - cried a little 🥺🥲

Well I think I'm sucked in. The writing style is I believe "Third Person Omniscient" (I had to google this because I'm not sure) so I love the idea of knowing everything but the characters don't... which I might add, there are a lot of character points of view so far in 19 pages and there's more to come (I peaked), however it's not overwhelming. I'm moreso intrigued!

The next story is called Outback Christmas 🤣 Definitely not what I was expecting. I can't believe how much I love Simona and Casey in just a few short pages. I loved their scene together, I thought it was sexy and believable (which is important for me). However, every time there was any horse / ranch talk I was taken out of the story a little, haha! Overall, I want more of these characters!

To add, since I ran out of space - Some word choices like "seeping" could have been left out though 🤣 If this were a full length book about mishaps on a lesbian cruise ship - I’d read the whole thing, lol! The friend group sounds like so much fun and I want to see what happens!

I have never read this sub genre of romance - sapphic holiday smut? I don't know, but the first story in this is called Mermaids and Mistletoe and honestly the writing style of that first author wasn't bad. I personally think that for an INCREDIBLY short and unrealistic story (which I think that's the point of short story smut right? getting straight to the... point?) it was fun and spicy.

My stomach is in knots and my eyes are watering. Sabaa Tahir always does this to me. Emotional punches right in the beginning.
