I've been reading through Kindle Unlimited lately. I love the ability to try new authors without the expense of wasting money. Sadly, more than half the self published are a waste of time and I never make it past the first few pages. I wish more authors participated with Kindle Unlimited.

I just finished The Rest Falls Away (The Gardella Vampire Hunters: Victoria Book 1) and gave it 5 stars. This looks like a promising series.

So far so good. I've read all the other books leading up to this one and I'm glad this if focusing on Etienne. Once I started, I've found it hard to put down.

Hmmm... how big is this sheriff jurisdiction?"

I struggle sometimes with ratings for books that I didn't finish reading because the quality of writing was such poor quality, uninteresting, or offensive. What about you? Do you go ahead and post low ratings to warn other readers or do you keep your mouth shut and not warn other readers of those books? For every great book there are 100 not so great books.

When I added some friends to my list, I didn't know much about them other than they liked to read as much as I did. However, I now find those friends clogging my email with book announcements, giveaways, and other such annoyance. I have learned how to remove them from my friend list and yet they keep sending me friend request. Thankfully there is an ignore button.

Some books can truly be ended after the first yet because of some major hits such as Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey, more and more books are being drawn out even though the base story really isn't that interesting. It's a fad. Write books worth reading and if it is one book length, leave it one book length."

So far, the book has been 77 pages of sex with very little plot or building story. It picks up directly where the first book in the series left off so if you haven't read the first book you'll be lost in this one at the beginning.

I'm less than halfway through and already in love with the book! Ella has artfully created the characters and I'm addicted!
