Mercy’s epiphany about her relationship with Sam is heartbreaking.

I may be able to tolerate a flawed FMC but a weak and less-than-heroic MMC? Not too much. Prince Cassius is frustrating.

Enjoying this book so far. Harper writing a younger brasher FMC is a lot of fun to read.

“I think his body rejected the heart,” Camryn said. “That happens sometimes with transplants.” Gun grunted. “More like the heart rejected him.”

The funniest quip from the two of them in this book.

I've missed Wendell, his odd mixture of flippancy and bravery

The appearance of hope for Ruko in an unexpected form is surprising and emotional. It’s a genius move on the writer’s part and I’m in awe of it. Antonio Hodgson has made me shed tears for a villain.

The colourful side characters make this book shine.

Heartbreaking

Loving this premise😁

Giving me Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell vibes.

This book definitely gives me Scully and Mulder vibes. Love the banter between Fallon and Isabella, especially how she sees through all his quirks and faults and holds him to them.

A second go at trying to finish this book. As an Henry fan, I still believe there's no such thing as a bad Henry book.

Vajamas😝 Genius!

"You're hearing Vinnie Jones in your head?" 😆
This book keeps getting better and better.

Veronica 😂 Someone had too much fun writing this book! Vampires bring out the camp in everyone

Mornaday 😂 This book might actually be the funniest one in the series

Stoker ❤️😂

So far so good, what a change from the dudes I've been reading about in romantasy books! No description provided, just a display of noble character.

I'm devouring (and enjoying) these books at such a fast rate, the fear is starting to set in--- the fear of nearing the end of this utterly engrossing series and that there will be no more new books 😭. I know, it's irrational, I'm only at book 4!

Re-reading this again because I need to get over how bad the movie People We Meet on Vacation was. Would have re-read the PWMoV novel to reassure myself that it's the filmmakers' fault and not Emily Henry's but the holding queue for that book at my library was too long. Ironically, Funny Story is about getting over a heartbreak and it feels that's exactly what I'm doing--- the movie was soooo bad y'all!!

Katherine Center is back!

Some laugh out loud lines, like this one:
"It helps me flat, it protects me from hypothermia... And it makes me a really good snuggler."
Ok, so out of context it does weird but trust me it works!
