dry , I don’t like any of these people and the chemistry is downright nonexistent. A
brick and a bird perched on it has more chemistry than Rue and Eli in this book. I never thought i’d never see the day when smut is so dry I pray for it to end.

I admire when authors go straight into a story but this books literally starts off in the middle of a brewing conflict which is extremely off putting. ESPECIALLY if all this food biochem engineering jargon is being thrown at us… I’m watching you Ali Hazelwood this is my first impression of you…

ngl this is a solid 3 stars, two stars off for wasting my time but 3 bc it’s still entertaining

Lily is such a terrible character, please release me from the girl-who-believes-she’s-better-than-everyone-else-because-she-hates-the-feminine trope but imma be lenient because this was written in 2016.
