I LOVE the Spanish in this book!! The bicultural, historical, magical realism lens is really an interesting concept and I’m intrigued to see how it’s developed. :’) feels NEW and I like it, so far I’m sensing a lil Agatha Christie, ~*slay*~

good so far! A little hard to get into as an audiobook but it’s free on Spotify so I’m trying to crank it out! I think I like the world, but I’m not sure I’m sold on the circus vibe yet… but really interesting concept and I love a life threatening fate altering games vibe haha

DNF, this book is dark. I’m not the biggest fan of the writing and it feels kinda icky so not gonna push through.

I still haven’t finished this book… I can’t remember why

the fact I have to set a page limit to not BINGE this book … hehe who knew ya could still captivate me like this.

listening as an audiobook! So far the protagonist is needy and annoying, there is a side plot all too similar to “room” and a murder in the past that is cookie cutter boring. I heard people rave about this one and maybe the audiobook just isn’t doing it… but, nothing special so far.

I hate almost every character so far BUT I am hooked.
