I’ll be honest it’s gone down a little in my rating. I was enjoying the more light hearted adventure, buuut it does not cease to be a Kuang book. Goods but depressing lol.

Loving the adventure so far! Little but more cheesy if a story and romance, but it’s refreshing coming from a book Kuang

I love the unique theme the powers have in this book. The revenge story is fascinating. I’ve enjoyed this thoroughly so far.

This is actually where I’m at. Oh boy the last few chapters have been insane! I’m thrilled to see what happens next.

Putting this guy down for a pallet cleanse. I’m starting to have a readers block and I know it’s from this hefty soab. Beyond that, I was already having a hard time enjoying the characters, so I’ll be reading something more enjoyable -then I’ll pick it back up

Why is everyone actually so insecure about their honor holy moly. Like it’s a dog dude, you really don’t have to kill it. Or - YOU stole the alcohol?? Why are you shocked this dudes pissed? And why is it that him being pissed you took HIS alcohol, detrimental to your honor??

I don’t think I like any character right now.

Absolutely incredible book thus far. The slow introduction to the magic system has been a treat.

Unfortunately I have not continued this book. Just wasn’t the time or place to read it. Still in my list, though!

I am back from my reading hiatus and now onto the next book in the series. Both Aelin and Chaol royally pissing me off again.

So happy to be back in this story. But OH MY LORRDD no one can catch a break!
