I'm in a book funk. The last few books I've read have had major suckage. That means it's time to read "On the Jellicoe Road" again for the 7th or 8th (I've lost count) time.

Drew Baylor? Is this author making a reference to "The Hook Up?"

Oh my God, this book is so much fun. Exactly what I needed to get me out of the book funk I've been in.

And my run with NA/adult contemporary books that are good/decent has run into a big brick wall with this one. A wall called "insta love." Yikes.

Picked this up because I'm a glutton for punishment apparently, and I thought "hey, most NA genre books I read suck. Let me keep reading them!" But the reason I keep reading them is because when I find an actual good one like this one, it surprises the shit out of me. I'm thoroughly enjoying this and hope it doesn't change up on me towards the end. :fingers crossed:

I'm almost finished with this book. That's the only reason I'll continue because the protagonist is so damn annoying that it makes it difficult to find anything likable about the story.

OH MY GOD. All the characters in this book - with the exception of the main character - suck hairy nips. Good lord I want to punch them all in the face and then give them paper cuts, and after drop lemon juice on them. They are terrible people. Ugh.
