it’s not easy writing chaotic action-packed scenes mixed with humour but i’m able to follow everything that’s happening AND the jokes are not making me cringe. so far so good!

very excellent introduction and i’m glad i’m reading this now.

the prose in this book is so beautiful

not done yet, but to write a book after surviving four years in london ontario (i will never go) about your messy life encounters as an undergrad (friendship changes, situationships, stress of classes) — on top of all this, come to nearly expect racism in every single interaction is so painful. yet i relate. very grateful i didn’t end up in a smaller uni town but all of these thoughts are the same.
