It’s just incredible it feels like pain has been woven into silk.

I lost this book for ages which has given me at least time to meditate on it. I’ve loved a lot of these my favourites are Dogfish, Trilliums, rage, Wild geese, dreams, Robert Schumann, members of the tribe and starfish all absolutely great.

I feel like so far the book is giving a clear message of conformity the protagonist clearly is dependant on blending in with her surroundings to feel happy however this is contrasted by how her peers view her as unfulfilled siting the hypocrisy of a society that pushes conformity but won’t accept mediocrity. I’m not sure if I like the book so far but I think it will get better soon.

Really great so far a very engaging protagonist I love how she seems to be on the edge of something a breakdown of the silent intolerance she has for the prejudice in her life and workplace.

Very good so far I liked the first poem dogfish very much I also liked the one about rage

I’m quite a few chapters in the book now and it’s altered my life. I’ve learned from this. It feels like I’m experiencing life and in-fact the suffering and triumphs of multiple people who’s existence and beings proudly beat through the pages. I feel I’ve been to several points of perspective I’ve learn how to see as an “I” and how to see as a “We”.

Incredibly uplifting, empowering and awakening a love poem written to black women in every corner of the world love it so far.

One of my favourite books have read many times and each time it scares me perfect for Halloween or for any day for that matter.

It’s Queenie’s indifference and neglect to her emotional needs that spirals her through impulse after impulse and she remains imperfect and a true raw perspective of a woman in grief who’s been bruised by society and her own life and the people in it.

It’s kind of chilling so far but also hilarious it’s an unfiltered perspective of a woman’s life awkward stories and funny moments and small defeats.

It’s so harrowing to hear neglect described in such direct casual way and how abuse through the eyes of a child seems idyllic and how the parents seem like the hero’s of her story which contrasts the stark reality of it.

It’s slightly repetitive but I think that’s the way it’s supposed to be I think it reminds us that life can sometimes be dragged by routine but people, connections and humour provide colour to a repetitive life.

It’s a silent book. Which means it’s gives a feeling of lazy tranquility that just makes you appreciative of life and the little things. It’s also hilarious and the characters are so abnormal and random they come across as charismatic.

It’s incredible. It’s saddening but beautiful it instills something beautiful and personal in how they suffer collectively and how they use this as their strength that bonds them to each other. All the women in the book are connected by their experiences

It’s enchanting but also despairing, never misses an opportunity to engage the reader in a lesson about kindness and commitment to our responsibilities.

Very heartbreaking in places but it never fails to deliver a heart warming message even in the most trialling parts.

It’s good it’s very easy to follow also it’s smooth and engrossing and it’s a great story to read in the duration of the exams it’s a great childhood book.

Very good and educational it’s a bit of historical knowledge in a playful almost poetic way

Very educational even comedic and just an incredible ravelling tale of how book came to be.

Excellent I loved old father William and the mad tea party.

Not sure about this one definitely longer than the books I’ve read so far more modern as well. I do not know whether to engage the story is good but I don’t know if I’m flowing through it like I did the others. I’ll read the first paragraph and if nothing changes I don’t know.

I feel like I’m gaining something new from this book but I’m unsure of what is perhaps it’s just appreciation.

Good I’ve learnt a lot I feel wiser for knowing.

Well the journey begins here

Remarkable how I’m still hopelessly failing to detect the true killer. It’s all so engrossing and each character has an inexplicable charming wit about them.
