I’m kind of bored :/ like I just don’t think this needs to be as long as it is and part of me thinks I should dnf but I’m also feeling kind of completionist about finishing it??

It’s time

Really stunning writing, but I can tell this will be a tough read

Kenny and I finally listened to more of this one. It’s not hitting as much for me, it feels a little all over the place and I wish it had more of a single through line plot. We’ll see if that changes in the second half!

The only plus side to jet lag is time to read before work lol

Emily St. John mandel doesn’t miss 👏👏👏 immediately reminded why she’s one of my favorite authors just so much intrigue and a master when it comes to setting

I can’t lie this eats

I’m hitting a wall w this one :/

Reading this while in Italy is hitting; completely lives up to the hype so far. Beautifully tragic already

Why do these people keep adding 5 year olds to their quest parties (also pretty sure one of these instances was a literal kidnapping??) stop cosplaying parents you’re in constant danger

It’s giving 5 star but I will drop to a 4.5 if the main character keeps saying “blarg” STOP RUINING A PERFECT BOOK

I think I expected this to be a little more literary, the writing is very simplistic. That being said the plot is building intrigue well

This writing is….very bad
